MedSpeed in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Medical Driver to join our healthcare logistics team. You will drive a company vehicle, transport lab specimens and supplies, and maintain safety and accuracy on every route.

This full-time role offers a stable schedule (Mon-Fri, 6:00 am–2:30 pm) with paid time off, on-demand pay, and comprehensive benefits. Previous driving history and dependable performance are essential to delivering patient-centered service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 19 years of age with an active driver’s license for 3 years.
• Demonstrated dependability and reliability.
• Familiarity with technology and following procedures.
• Ability to determine efficient routing between multiple points.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug & alcohol screen.
• Drive a non-commercial vehicle on varying roads and weather conditions.
• Excellent driving history required.
• COVID-19 vaccination may be required by location.
• Regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-owned vehicle, safely transporting lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, and supplies.
• Operate a handheld scanner to track items through the transport cycle.
• Observe operating policies, procedures and service schedules.
• Present a professional image to clients and the public.
• Load and unload company vehicles with appropriate equipment.
• Demonstrate safe and courteous driving behavior.
• Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain a clean vehicle.
• Route duties may vary; perform all duties across assigned routes.
• Demonstrate teamwork and adaptability with teammates and clients.
• Build and nurture a collaborative MedSpeed team culture.
