Job summary

New Season is seeking a Medical Director to oversee all medical services at the treatment center, providing professional leadership to clinical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. The role entails overseeing physician extenders, supervising changes in medication orders, and maintaining regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local laws.

The Medical Director will participate in board meetings, support physician recruitment, and train staff on chart reviews, dosing, and policy

Qualifications

• Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the states where care is provided.
• DEA Certificate of Registration and Medicaid/Medicare credential required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight and leadership to clinical staff to ensure quality of care.
• Supervise nursing and physician extenders; approve medication changes and orders.
• Train clinical staff on policies, chart reviews, and dosing updates.
• Participate in quarterly board meetings; discuss budgets, staffing, and patient care.
• Assist in physician recruitment and interviewing; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Corporate Medical Director on patient-care concerns.
