Job summary

Qualifications

• Active and clear licensure to practice medicine in the state(s) in which care is provided.
• DEA Certificate of Registration is required.
• Active Medicaid and Medicare credential in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical oversight to clinical staff and ensure quality of care.
• Examine patients upon admission/readmission with physician extenders.
• Supervise nursing staff on medication dosage changes and orders.
• Be available for emergency management and patient care decisions.
• Train clinical staff and participate in policy/procedure updates.
• Attend weekly treatment team meetings and provide care recommendations.
• Assist Program Directors with physician recruitment and interviews.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
