Qualifications

• MD or DO with active, unrestricted Ohio medical license.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or related specialty preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical direction and oversight for resident care; establish clinical standards and best practices.
• Mentor and supervise nurse practitioners and conduct case reviews with the interdisciplinary team.
• Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations and participate in surveys and audits.
• Lead QAPI initiatives to reduce avoidable hospitalizations and improve outcomes.
• Serve as clinical liaison among administration, nursing staff, providers, residents and families.
