Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Medical Director to lead the US Medical Affairs Hematology-Endocrine team for Sickle Cell Disease. You will provide medical leadership, guide development and lifecycle planning, and collaborate with Global Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners.

You will establish and maintain thought leader relationships, identify care gaps, and drive scientifically grounded communications and resources for healthcare professionals and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Terminal doctorate with 5+ years in pharma, clinical/medical practice, or both.
• Experience in SCD and Medical Affairs preferred.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Organizational and matrix-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supports development and execution of US medical strategies and tactics for the SCD portfolio.
• Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials for fair balance.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Field Medical, HEOR and other stakeholders to set strategic direction.
• Plan and lead advisory boards, congress-related symposia and congress planning.
• Contribute to publications, data generation and medical education activities.
