Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Physician (Primary Care) to provide comprehensive primary care services to a defined panel of Veterans in the Ohio region.

The role emphasizes leadership of a PACT team, coordination of care, preventive services, and collaboration with specialty services within the VA system. Schedule is typically 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for academic involvement.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an approved medical school.
• Current, full and unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
• Residency in an approved core specialty with board eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to a defined patient panel.
• Lead a Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) and coordinate care.
• Perform history taking, exams, and order labs and diagnostic studies.
• Develop treatment plans and refer to specialists as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to meet VA performance measures.
