Job summary

Lucis in Paris is hiring a Medical Director to own the company's clinical direction and medical safety system, turning clinical judgement into the medical standards the service runs on. You will decide what we test and why, set the risk posture and governance, own the certification pathway (CE/ISO or out of scope), and lead the clinical operations and safety team.

You will also represent Lucis clinically with labs, insurers and regulators, alongside the CMO.

Qualifications

• MD with hospital practice experience
• Experience leading people and systems in healthtech, diagnostics, pharma, medical affairs, or CROs
• Experience in quality or regulatory roles and cert decisions

Responsibilities

• Decide what we test and why, and the clinical standard the service runs on
• Set the risk posture and governance: who signs what, incident handling, claims
• Own the certification path: medical device classification, CE, ISO, or scope decisions
• Hire and lead the clinical operations and safety team
• Represent Lucis clinically with labs, insurers, institutional partners and regulators, alongside the CMO
• Set product safety standards for releases
