Job summary

Labcorp Oncology seeks a physician scientific leader to shape and execute the clinical development strategy for the MRD portfolio across solid tumors. You will generate clinical evidence, oversee validation, and guide adoption of MRD/ctDNA-based diagnostics to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires board-certified medical oncology with strong collaboration across research, regulatory, and market access to drive portfolio strategy and product lifecycle decisions.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree required.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• 5+ years of post-fellowship clinical experience in oncology.
• 3+ years in oncology clinical development or evidence generation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in pharma/biotech.
• Strong publication and scientific communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical development lead for Labcorp Oncology's MRD portfolio across solid tumors.
• Develop and execute clinical development strategies for MRD/ctDNA technologies.
• Lead evidence-generation programs to establish clinical validity and utility.
• Drive alignment across internal stakeholders on studies and product development.
• Translate data into recommendations for portfolio strategy and indications expansion.
• Act as senior medical advisor for MRD portfolio strategy and adoption.
• Collaborate with R&D, product, innovation, and market access teams.
