Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Director, Clinical Development – MRD Portfolio (Solid Tumors) to lead clinical strategy for MRD and ctDNA technologies in solid tumors. You will work with R&D, biostatistics, regulatory, and market access teams to drive evidence generation and product adoption.

The role requires board-certified medical oncology and extensive experience in oncology clinical development, with a track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and clinical studies across tumor types.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology.
• 5+ years of post-fellowship clinical experience treating solid tumors.
• 3+ years of oncology clinical development or evidence-generation experience in pharma/biotech/academia.
• 8+ years designing, leading, or supporting prospective and/or retrospective clinical studies.
• 5+ years working in cross-functional environments with operations, biostatistics, regulatory affairs, medical affairs, research & development, commercial, and market access.
• 20+ peer-reviewed presentations delivered at scientific events or to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership for MRD portfolio across solid tumors.
• Lead clinical studies to establish clinical validity and utility of MRD testing.
• Collaborate with R&D, biostatistics, regulatory, market access, and operations on study design and interpretation.
• Recruit and engage investigators and sites for company-sponsored studies and collaborations.
• Translate emerging clinical data into actionable development recommendations and portfolio strategies.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and real-world evidence programs.
