Genentech, a Roche company, seeks an MD clinician-scientist for Early Clinical Development in South San Francisco. You will author Phase I–II protocols, act as medical monitor, and lead CST/PET activities to align biomarkers, safety, regulatory, and portfolio decisions.

The role requires board-certified or eligible specialization with 2+ years in translational or clinical research, in immunology or inflammation. Relocation support; onsite presence at least 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• MD with Board Certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology, Pulmonary, Rheumatology, Nephrology, or related specialty.
• 2+ years of clinical, translational, or basic research experience in immunology or inflammation.
• Understanding of Phases I–II, trial methodology, GCP/ICH guidelines, and data interpretation.

Responsabilités

• Author clinical protocols for early-phase (Phase I/II) studies.
• Provide medical oversight and safety monitoring across active trials.
• Represent Clinical Science on CST and PET, integrating biomarkers, safety, regulatory, and commercial inputs.
• Author clinical sections for INDs, IBs, and health authority briefing materials.
