Position: Hospitalist Medical Director

Location: Charleston, WV

Job Duties

• Oversee the Thomas Memorial Hospital (TMH) Hospitalist Program.
• Ensure high-quality patient care and oversee clinical activities.
• Make staffing recommendations for optimal care delivery.
• Ensure efficient consultation services, clinical processes, treatment protocols, and maintain patient satisfaction and safety.
• Monitor quality metrics to ensure appropriate outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, administration, nursing, and technical staff to maintain excellent clinical operations.
• Develop new clinical programs and innovations to utilize the latest technologies and services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, eligible for West Virginia medical license.
• Completed residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Board certified or eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
