WVU Medicine, WVUHS Medical Group, is actively recruiting three Surgical Pathologists to provide professional pathology services at Thomas Memorial Hospital, a member of the WVU Health System located in South Charleston, WV.
The successful candidates will provide day-to-day anatomic (AP) sign-out and clinical (CP) services at Thomas Memorial Hospital. One of these positions has additional responsibilities as the CLIA Laboratory Director at Thomas Memorial Hospital and Saint Francis Hospital, responsible for regulatory oversight and maintaining the quality of pathology and laboratory services at these facilities.
Successful candidates must have an MD, MD/PhD, or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology. Training and experience providing surgical pathology (including frozen section intraoperative consultations) and other laboratory professional services are required.
