Amgen in the United States is seeking a Clinical Development Director to lead early phase programs in cardiometabolic/general medicine. You will drive protocol design, study startup, and cross-functional execution across internal teams and external partners.

You will review safety and pharmacokinetic data, guide biomarker strategies, and contribute to licensing discussions while shaping development plans and timelines for high-impact medicines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• 2 years of industry or academic/basic sciences/clinical research experience.
• Board certification or eligible; residency in cardiology or internal medicine.

Responsabilités

• Lead early phase clinical development of cardiometabolic/general medicine candidates.
• Support protocol development, study start-up, data review, monitoring and analysis.
• Review safety, efficacy, pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic data.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external experts to guide drug development.
• Evaluate external licensing or partnering opportunities.
• Contribute to external partnerships and strategic biomedical guidance.
