Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is seeking a Medical Director to provide medical and scientific leadership for late-stage dermatology and respiratory clinical development. You will oversee assigned studies, ensure rigorous trial design and patient safety, and contribute to regulatory deliverables across immune-mediated diseases.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree required.
• Board certification or eligibility in relevant fields preferred.
• 3+ years in clinical development or clinical research, pharma/biotech experience preferred.
• Experience leading interventional trials and regulatory interactions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase 2/3 dermatology, respiratory, or allergy trials aligned with strategy and GCP.
• Act as medical lead for studies: monitoring, safety, and data review.
• Guide cross-functional teams to meet milestones from concept to close-out.
• Develop study concepts, protocols, CRFs, and analysis plans.
• Support regulatory submissions, health authority responses, and labeling discussions.
• Translate emerging evidence into actionable development recommendations.
• Build relationships with investigators and external experts; represent Immunology TA.
• Support disease-area strategy, indication prioritization, and novel outcomes.
