Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Medical Director to provide medical and scientific leadership for late-stage dermatology and respiratory clinical development. You will oversee study design, safety, data interpretation, and regulatory deliverables across immune-mediated diseases.

Ideal candidates have MD, 3+ years in clinical development, and strong leadership in multi-functional teams, with experience in global regulatory interactions and in immunology-focused programs.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Clinical expertise in pulmonology, allergy, asthma, and immunology or closely related discipline is strongly preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant clinical development or clinical research experience.
• Experience leading interventional clinical trials including protocol development, medical monitoring, safety and data review.
• Late-stage development experience and global regulatory interactions or submissions are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, execution, analysis, and reporting of Phase 2/3 trials in respiratory, allergy, or dermatology.
• Serve as medical lead for assigned studies, including eligibility guidance and safety review.
• Lead cross-functional study teams and drive timely decisions and milestones.
• Develop and review clinical documents: protocols, CRFs, analysis plans, brochures, and reports.
• Contribute medical content to regulatory submissions and health authority interactions.
• Interpret emerging evidence and translate into actionable development recommendations.
• Build relationships with investigators, experts, and health authorities.
• Support disease-area strategy and future treatment paradigms.
• Mentor clinical team members and foster a collaborative culture.
