Infinite Medical P.C., in partnership with The MedElite Group, is seeking a Medical Director to oversee clinical services in long-term care facilities. You will lead medical staff, promote best practices, and ensure high-quality patient care across the facility in Thief River Falls, MN.

The role requires LTC leadership experience, regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. CMD certification is preferred; direct patient care may be required.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive LTC or SNF experience required.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality processes.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight and mentorship to medical staff.
• Lead credentialing and interview processes for new staff.
• Chair QAPI Committee quarterly.
• Ensure DOH survey readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care advances.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, fostering a collaborative environment while maintaining the highest standards of patient care. Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility's clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
