Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a dynamic Medical Director to oversee the delivery of comprehensive care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care settings.

You will provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory standards, guiding the medical team and collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred for LTC leadership.
• Extensive experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth regulatory knowledge and quality improvement in LTC.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds and stand/walk up to 6–8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff.
• Foster a collaborative environment for best practices and development.
• Lead interview and credentialing for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the QAPI committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed on geriatric care to evolve clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents when needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Medical Director to join our team. As the Medical Director, you will play a key role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive care to patients, ensuring high-quality service, and promoting best practices across the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
• Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
• Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support

Requirements

• Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day.
