Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a dynamic Medical Director to oversee comprehensive care delivery for residents in skilled nursing facilities. You will provide leadership, guidance, and direction to clinical staff, promoting best practices and high standards of patient care.

You will chair the QAPI committee, supervise credentialing, and ensure DOH and regulatory compliance while driving new clinical programs and partnerships to improve senior care across facilities.

Qualifications

  • CMD certification preferred.
  • Extensive experience in LTC or skilled nursing facility settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in LTC.
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
  • Prolonged standing and walking; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs; computer work; lifting/moving patients; prolonged sitting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide ongoing oversight and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
  • Lead credentialing and interview processes for medical staff.
  • Chair or co-chair the QAPI committee on a quarterly basis.
  • Assist in DOH survey preparedness and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
  • Stay informed on geriatric care advancements to evolve clinical offerings.
  • Provide direct patient care to residents and ensure high-quality clinical treatment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to the medical staff to maintain high standards of care
  • Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development
  • Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff
  • Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee on a quarterly basis
  • Assist in Department of Health (DOH) survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives
  • Stay informed of advancements in geriatric and long-term care to continuously evolve the facility’s clinical offerings
  • Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support
Requirements
  • Certified Medical Director (CMD) certification is preferred.
  • Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement processes in long-term care
  • Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations
