As the Medical Director, you'll keep doing what you love - practicing veterinary medicine. You'll develop medical protocols, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with the practice manager on finances, budgeting, and operational optimization.

Base salary of $125,000-$150,000 DOE

About the Area:

Frederick is the 2nd largest city in the state of Maryland and one of the fastest growing cities in the DC metro area. The downtown area is packed with charm including civil war museums, Maryland School for the Deaf, row houses, quaint one-of-a-kind shops, local eateries, micro-breweries, and local distilleries that are mostly pet-friendly. Outside of downtown is a large military base, Fort Detrick. Just outside the city proper, but still within Frederick County, you can find rolling hills, wineries, orchards and a strong agricultural presence. You can also hike part the Appalachian Trail. Frederick is part of the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan Area - located less than one hour from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and about 45 minutes away from Gettysburg, PA. Frederick considers itself the city where hip meets historic every day.
