Olympus Corporation in Center Valley, PA area is seeking a Distribution Associate to handle receiving, picking, packing and shipping with accuracy while maintaining inventory integrity. Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, put-away, order fulfillment, cycle counts, operation of material handling equipment, and strict adherence to GMP and CTPAT procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent related work experience.
• Basic Math Skills.
• Read/Write English.
• Ability to learn Material Handling Equipment as needed. Experience preferred.
• Ability to accurately read and interpret multi-digit alpha numeric part numbers/product attributes and differentiate between similar products to select appropriate product for processing throughout distribution.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to learn how to operate RF scanning device and other material handling equipment.
• Ability to work in multiple systems.
• Obtain Hazmat/ Lithium battery certification as needed.
• Able to work overtime as needed to support the business needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow requirements of Quality Management System including storage and traceability of product both inbound and outbound and report any non-conformances to leadership.
• Process incoming deliveries including unloading trucks, sorting product/shipments, palletizing or re-palletizing products, verifying against packing list, receiving and put-away to assigned location.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders with high accuracy and efficiency.
• Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts; follow procedures to ensure inventory integrity.
• Learn and operate various material handling equipment (manual and/or motorized) including pallet jacks and work assist vehicle; ensure equipment is safe to use.
• Complete records for equipment operation and report issues.
• Follow CTPAT and GMP guidelines; maintain a clean, safe distribution center.
• Mailroom duties as assigned and support operations as needed.
• May operate MHE to support operations.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy across processes.
• Adhere to all company policies including safety and attendance.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
