Job summary

Olympus Corporation is seeking a QA Inspector to support daily inspections of repaired endoscopy devices at the Brooklyn Park Manufacturing Center. Candidates must reside within commuting distance and work onsite five days a week.

The role focuses on ensuring compliance with inspection standards, maintaining device histories, and reviewing technical documentation. Strong communication and organization are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years QA experience in medical device industry.
• Regulated industry experience and good written/verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Onsite role; no travel.
• Able to work AM/PM shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections on repaired endoscopy and endoscopy supporting electronic devices and accessories. With a primary focus on Medical and Surgical endoscopy products.
• Complete and maintain device history of service records both electronically and manually.
• Perform data collection and review of data accuracy and completeness both electronically and manually.
• Utilize and review technical documentation such as inspection standards and part drawings.
• Assist with the disposition of quality-controlled inventories and product quarantined from the production environment.
• Support 5S, Lean and other Good Manufacturing Practices both in the department and across the facility
• Support calibration and preventative maintenance activities as needed.
• Support all other Quality Assurance functions and responsibilities as requested.
