Stryker's Mako Enabling Technologies team in Weston, FL is seeking a Human Factors, Usability Engineer to join our hybrid work model. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field (Human Factors/Usability/HCI or Biomedical/Industrial).
• 4+ years in Human Factors Engineering or related field.
• Experience planning or conducting usability evaluations and analyzing data.
• Experience observing users in simulated environments and translating how they interact with products into design inputs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct, and analyze human factors evaluations to identify usability issues.
• Plan and execute testing for function, form, ergonomics, aesthetics, and usability.
• Collaborate with surgeons and clinicians to gather feedback and translate it into design requirements.
• Conduct cadaveric evaluations and document findings and reports.
• Investigate usability problems and design practical solutions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage schedules, risks, and training on engineering practices.
