Prescott's Inc. is seeking a Medical Device Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of medical devices at our Kansas City, MO site. You will support calibration, testing, and validation per specifications, using multimeters, soldering tools, and other precision equipment.

Strong reading of schematics and data entry skills are required. The role emphasizes quality, safety compliance, and collaboration with technicians and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; on‑the‑job training provided.
• Previous medical device assembly experience preferred.
• Computer/data entry experience is essential.
• Knowledge of quality standards.
• Electronics knowledge: circuit boards, processors, chips, and related hardware/software.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams with limited supervision.
• Ability to operate a range of test/measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair, rework, or calibrate units to meet specifications.
• Test and inspect products to evaluate quality and compliance.
• Read schedules, work orders, and schematics to determine procedures.
• Prepare components and wire assemblies per prints and docs.
• Use power supplies, multimeters, leak detectors, ohmmeters, soldering tools.
• Verify instrument readings against standards and reject defective units.
• Collaborate with technicians and supervisors on procedures and results.
• Read instrument dials or displays to detect issues and failures.
