Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Technical Writer IV in St. Paul, MN. This on-site six-month contract focuses on producing compliant medical device documentation for clinicians and patients, with strong collaboration across engineering, regulatory, and marketing teams.

You will manage end-user manuals, IFUs, and labeling content while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and document control workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
• 2–6 years as a technical writer in a medical or high-tech environment.
• Medical device or pharmaceutical end-user writing experience.
• Experience with content management systems such as AIT, Veeva, Windchill or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple projects in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit technical documentation for new and sustaining product development.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, regulatory and clinical teams to gather inputs for IFUs.
• Follow internal processes to ensure documentation quality and consistency.
• Understand and comply with medical device regulatory labeling requirements.
• Release and manage documentation through a Document Control system.
