Job summary

Generis Tek Inc in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Technical Writer for a 6-month, onsite contract.

You will research, write and edit technical documentation to support new and sustaining product development projects, collaborating with engineering, regulatory affairs and clinical teams. A bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required, with 2–6 years of medical device or biotech writing experience and experience with document control and content management systems (AIT, Vasont, Windchill).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent.
• 2–6 years of progressively responsible technical writing experience in a medical device or high-technology environment.
• Experience writing end-user clinician/patient manuals.
• Content management experience (AIT, Vasont, Windchill) and document control processes.

Responsibilities

• Research, write and edit technical documentation to support product development and sustaining projects.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, regulatory affairs and clinical teams to gather inputs for IFUs.
• Follow internal processes and comply with medical device labeling regulations.
