Qualifications

• Familiarity with automated test frameworks such as Pytest is essential
• Database concepts and experience with SQL-based databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, Rust, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities with a proactive learning mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and teamwork abilities
• Proven project experience through coursework, personal projects, or internships

Responsibilities

• Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Pytest for end-to-end testing of medical device software
• Test Planning: Design comprehensive test plans based on requirements with developers and QA
• Bug Identification: Capture, track, and work with the team to resolve defects
• Engage in Code Quality Assurance: Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Test Execution: Perform manual and automated testing for functionality, performance, and security
• Test Reporting: Generate test reports and provide insights for improvements
• Continuous Improvement: Help evolve test processes and adopt new tools and techniques
