Job summary

CONMED Corporation in Largo, FL is seeking a Service Technician to evaluate, troubleshoot, and document repairs of analog and digital camera controllers, camera heads, light sources, optical couplers, and related equipment. Responsibilities include burn-in, Final Checkout, and safety testing to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Two years of electronic/mechanical assembly and soldering experience are required, along with the ability to pass a soldering skills assessment and lift up

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in electronic/mechanical assembly and soldering within the last 12 months.
• Ability to pass soldering skills assessment.
• Must be able to work at a bench height of 37.5"-42", sit/stand, move, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Returned Goods feedback to compare symptoms with product failure.
• Troubleshoot to component level to determine failure.
• Provide failure analysis to Engineering for root cause investigations.
• Estimate repair costs for customer quotes as needed.
• Route repairs to Production as appropriate.
• Complete repairs/upgrades and perform burn-in, Final Checkout, and safety testing.
• Update repair records and device history in systems.
• Maintain product change history with engineering changes affecting repairs.
