Job summary

CONMED is seeking an assembler/packager to perform assembly and labeling of sterile and non-sterile products. The role requires following written and verbal instructions, using microscopes for quality checks, and operating various packaging devices in a clean room environment.

Candidates should have at least one year of related experience, be able to lift 20 pounds, stand 10 hours daily, and maintain accuracy with production rates. Dietary, physical duties, and overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in assembly and packaging operations.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Stand for 10 hours a day.
• Basic English speaking/comprehension/reading ability.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work at established production rates and demonstrate good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Check work for proper assembly; may use microscope to ensure specifications.
• Set up and operate various packaging devices.
• Assemble, label, and package sterile and non-sterile products or sub-assemblies.
• Print labels and complete associated paperwork.
• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Follow clean room gowning requirements (PPE).
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
