Job summary

Actalent in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Program Manager to lead customer programs from concept through commercialization in a regulated medical device environment. You will coordinate across cross-functional teams to ensure quality, on-time delivery and financial objectives.

The role involves working with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Supply Chain to support development, validation, launch, and production transfer across multiple sites and manufacturing technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Project Management, Life Sciences, or related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• 3+ years of program management experience within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing or life sciences environments.
• Knowledge of product launch, manufacturing operations, validation, and production transfer.
• Experience leading customer-facing projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with PM tools (Smartsheet, MS Project) and ERP systems (IQMS, SAP, Oracle).
• PMP, Lean Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer programs through all phases of the product lifecycle from concept to production.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments, and mitigations.
• Coordinate and drive cross-functional activities to keep programs on track and within scope.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Lead project reviews, milestone meetings, action tracking, and escalation discussions.
• Drive urgency, ownership, and execution discipline across all functional teams.
• Monitor critical path activities and proactively remove barriers to success.
• Manage engineering changes, scope adjustments, and documentation throughout the lifecycle.
• Support transfer of products into manufacturing with launch planning, validation coordination, and readiness activities.
• Coordinate multi-site transfers and tooling/process transfers as required.
