Job summary

MPI is recruiting a Production Supervisor in Providence, RI to report to the VP of Operations. You will lead a manufacturing team, manage daily schedules, and drive continuous improvement to boost quality and efficiency.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of supervisory experience in a regulated manufacturing setting, plus strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Associate's degree in Management, Engineering, or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and process improvement initiatives.
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience in medical device or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop production employees.
• Manage daily production schedules, labor allocation, and workflow priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
• Monitor output, quality, efficiency, and safety performance.
• Establish and track KPIs; ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve communication and operations.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management.
