Employee Workplace in Acton, MA is seeking a Production Specialist (Temporary) to support assembly, testing, kitting, and inventory operations in a medical device environment. The role emphasizes high quality, safety, and adherence to production schedules.

Two shifts are offered: 6:00 AM–6:00 PM (1st shift) at $22.09/hour and 6:00 PM–6:00 AM (2nd shift) at $24.29/hour. This position requires lifting up to 50 lbs and ability to stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or medical device experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to distinguish colors on electronic displays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, label, package, and inspect medical device products and kits.
• Configure and test handheld electronic devices using specialized equipment.
• Follow production schedules, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and material handling activities.
• Verify components and finished products for accuracy and quality.
• Identify and report quality, safety, or process issues.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas.
