Gentuity seeks a motivated engineering student to support design, testing, and process improvement activities in a medical device environment. You will document assembly and test updates, conduct hands-on testing, and help develop fixtures using real-world data.

Strong communication and organization are essential. Rising junior or senior pursuing a BS in biomedical or mechanical engineering will gain exposure to statistical analysis, 3D printing, and cross-functional collaboration on process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is expected or in progress.
• Hands-on design, testing, and documentation experience preferred.
• Interest in medical device design and manufacturing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Implement process changes to improve performance, manufacturability, and cost.
• Document updates to assembly, test, and inspection instructions.
• Conduct hands-on testing including simulated use and root cause investigations.
• Design and prototype fixture concepts using real-world data.
• Make data-driven decisions using statistics and risk analysis.
• Complete change impact assessments with cross-functional input.
• Assist in additional PD activities as needed.
