Job summary

Accuray is seeking a Technical Project Manager, Medical Devices, to lead cross-functional projects from initiation through closeout in a regulated healthcare environment. You will collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Service, and Supply Chain to deliver on time while meeting regulatory requirements.

The role requires quick learning of technical topics, strong communication, and the ability to work independently with limited day-to-day direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in project management or cross-functional roles.
• Ability to lead work across multiple functions and quickly understand technical topics.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation or closeout.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, actions, dependencies, resources, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Service, Supply Chain, Commercial, and other functions.
• Quickly learn the technical topics, products, and business processes needed to support assigned projects.
• Translate complex information into clear plans, decisions, actions, and communications.
• Proactively identify risks, gaps, and delays; develop mitigation plans and elevate issues with recommendations.
• Drive decisions and action items to closure and follow through on commitments.
• Facilitate project kickoffs, team meetings, project reviews, and leadership updates.
• Communicate project status, risks, resource needs, and recommended actions clearly and concisely.
• Identify practical opportunities to improve project execution, PMO processes, team effectiveness, and business workflows.
• Support PMO governance, portfolio reporting, prioritization, and standard work as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support applicable quality and regulatory requirements.
