Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Skaneateles, NY is seeking a Packaging Associate to support the production of medical devices by packaging and final assembly, ensuring quality and compliance before shipping to customers.

You will work on a collaborative manufacturing team, maintain inventory, follow SOPs, participate in Lean initiatives, and uphold 6S and GMP standards; weekend shifts, on-site, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, specifications, and work procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Ability to identify product defects and quality concerns.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and workstations.

Responsibilities

• Package cuffs and finished products from production according to work instructions.
• Label and prepare components for shipment with product protection in mind.
• Stack and organize boxes on pallets for shipping and storage.
• Maintain inventory by replenishing materials as needed.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, and quality concerns to Team Leaders.
• Inspect products for defects and nonconformities.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete training programs and participate in advanced training opportunities.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen events.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace following 6S principles.
• Contribute to a Zero Harm culture by complying with EH&S requirements.
