Job summary

Baxter in the United States is seeking a Packaging Associate to support the production of high‑quality medical devices by performing packaging and final assembly for the Blood Pressure Cuffs product line. You will help ensure products are packaged accurately, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team, you will maintain inventory, support continuous improvement initiatives, uphold 6S and Zero Harm culture, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Ability to read and understand written instructions, specifications, and work procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.
• Ability to identify product defects and quality concerns.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new processes, equipment, and workstations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Package cuffs and other finished products according to work instructions.
• Package, label, and prepare components for shipment with proper protection.
• Stack and organize boxes on pallets for shipping and storage.
• Maintain inventory levels by replenishing materials.
• Report inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and quality concerns.
• Inspect products and materials for defects or nonconformities.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete required training programs and participate in advanced training.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace per 6S.
• Contribute to Zero Harm by following EH&S requirements.
• Report hazards, near misses, incidents, and quality concerns promptly.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and quality standards.
