Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field related to packaging engineering.
• 1–3 years in packaging engineering or related role; regulated industry exposure is a plus.
• Foundational knowledge of packaging concepts, sterile barrier systems, and related standards.

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and qualification of packaging systems for sterile and non-sterile medical devices.
• Assist with design control activities for low to moderate complexity projects; maintain packaging specs and documentation.
• Participate in packaging development from concept through verification and transfer; assist testing and data analysis.
• Translate product and customer requirements into packaging specs with guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams (R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Supply Chain) for packaging strategy.
• Execute technical tasks with ownership; escalate risks or issues as needed.
• Prepare and maintain technical docs (test protocols, reports, work instructions, change control) per QMS.
• Support packaging verification/validation activities including testing coordination and data collection.
