Job summary

Morgan New Bedford is seeking a skilled assembler for a third shift role. You will perform detailed assembly tasks using microscopes and precision tools, ensure proper documentation, and maintain strict EHS compliance in a cleanroom setting.

Responsibilities include performing helium leak testing, electrical testing, visual inspection, and ceramic processing steps with careful verification and record-keeping. Candidates must work Sunday-Thursday nights and pass standard eye and safety tests.

Qualifications

Job description

• Perform detailed assembly operations using microscopes, tweezers, micrometers, or dial indicators
• Complete all relevant documentation
• Maintain material inspection records
• Perform assembly and verification operations, including helium leak testing, electrical testing, visual inspection, and metal etching
• Perform ceramic processing operations, including ceramic cleaning, sputter setup, grind setup, masking and etching, and visual verification
• Conduct all tasks safely and efficiently in compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and Morgan New Bedford EHS Guidelines
• Participate in required EHS training and report hazardous conditions and job-related injuries or illnesses to a supervisor
• Perform training and cross-training as required

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Must be able to carry out written, oral, or diagram form instructions in English
• Must be a United States citizen, permanent resident alien, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) and 22CFR120.15
• Basic math skills
• Microscope use is required
• Cleanroom dress and protocol is mandatory
• Required to pass eye tests
• Required to talk or hear
• Required to stand, walk, and sit
• Required to use fingers, handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs
• Must be able to work the 3rd shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM-7:30 AM
• Must comply with EHS regulations and use proper PPE
