Job summary

embecta is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to set up and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensuring products meet quality specs and deadlines. You will inspect, repair, and service automated, semi-automatic, and hand-operated machines, coordinating with the maintenance planner and production teams.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic MS Office and SAP skills, and at least one year of mechanical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of mechanical experience or equivalent.
• Read, write, and speak English.
• Familiar with SAP and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines to meet quality specifications.
• Maintain and service all machinery as required.
• Repair machines and notify personnel of major repairs.
• Inspect machines for defects and perform repairs as needed.
• Create work orders and follow PM tasks to completion.
• Assist in training new personnel in department tasks.
• Work with the team leader to control quality and production.
• Follow safety guidelines and lockout procedures.
