Job summary

embecta is a global medical device company focused on insulin delivery and diabetes care. We are seeking a maintenance technician in Holdrege, Nebraska to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and keep production lines running safely and efficiently.

You will set up and service machines, create work orders, train operators, and collaborate with engineering and team leads to minimize downtime while upholding quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; read, write, and speak English.
• 1+ year of mechanical experience or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills: keyboarding, Microsoft Office, SAP.

Responsibilities

• Set up all automatic, semi-automatic and hand operated machines so that all products produced will meet all quality specifications.
• Maintain all machinery as required and perform preventive maintenance as dictated by schedule.
• Make repairs to machines and notify proper personnel of major repair needs.
• Examine machines for defects, dismantle and repair as necessary.
• Create work orders and notifications and close PM work orders on time after completing PM task.
• Instruct operators concerning proper methods for attaining maximum quality and quantity production.
