Job summary

Avalign Technologies Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to direct, plan, and control all manufacturing activities. You will oversee machine programming, safety, and supervision of staff to align with the company’s growth and profitability goals.

Responsibilities include planning production, managing labor costs, and ensuring quality and efficiency across the operations. Candidates should have a four-year degree in management and extensive medical device manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Management from an accredited college/university.
• Eight to ten years medical device manufacturing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan department operations by reviewing production orders or schedules.
• Develop capacity plans to support anticipated sales volumes.
• Manage direct labor to achieve labor cost goals.
• Oversee production processes to meet cost and quality targets.
• Set priorities and sequences for manufacturing to meet schedules.
• Ensure outputs meet procedures and quality specs.
• Review production data and resolve operational issues.
• Inspect machines and equipment for optimal performance.
• Develop/Revise standard procedures and ensure compliance.
• Handle grievances and escalate to senior management when needed.
• Maintain production data records.
• Oversee safety programs and on-site training.
• Direct interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluation processes.
