Job summary

Riverpoint Medical in Portland, OR is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician I to join a clean room environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, assemble products manually or with equipment, and support rapid repairs for braiding machinery and related systems.

The role requires basic tool use, ability to read drawings, and teamwork. We offer medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant work experience or a High School Diploma (preferred)
• Experience using basic hand/ power tools
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 60 pounds if necessary
• Plumbing, carpentry, and fabrication experience preferred but not required
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings (will learn on the job)

Responsibilities

• Follows the maintenance schedule to ensure PMs, repairs and installations are on time
• Performs preventive maintenance on braiding equipment
• Documents PM and repair activities in approved forms
• Maintains maintenance log and inventory for PM/spare parts
• Utilizes maintenance ticketing system for unscheduled maintenance requests
• Assists with receiving/moving equipment and with facility improvements
• Keeps workspace clean and organized
• Cross-trains to provide backup to the team
• Supports safety, quality, and infection control standards
