Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions seeks a skilled Machine Operator, Forging Press to form components from billets and die blocks. You will follow standard work, operate presses, troubleshoot die issues, and ensure quality while maintaining safety.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing Experience (Preferred)
• Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)
• 3+ Years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)
• High School diploma or equivalent is preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate forging press machines to form parts per standard work instructions.
• Troubleshoot die issues and perform adjustments as needed.
• Produce parts according to prints with minimal supervision.
• Set up and run 2nd and 3rd hit parts in main cells.
• Train employees on Standard Work practices.
• Review production schedule and ensure timely execution.
• Complete DHR documents and IPIS forms accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and 6S standards in the work area.
• Monitor machines for proper program performance.
• Escalate issues to technical teams when necessary.
