Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator, Forging Press to operate the forging press, form parts from billets, and follow standard work for production. You will troubleshoot die issues, run 2nd and 3rd hit parts, and ensure parts meet customer and manufacturing prints with minimal supervision.

The role requires strong problem solving, GD&T, blueprint reading, and attention to detail. This position supports a safety-conscious team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• 3+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Machining trade school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forging press to form parts per standard work.
• Troubleshoot die issues as needed.
• Produce parts to prints with minimal supervision.
• Set up and run 2nd and 3rd hit parts.
• Train employees to the standard work.
• Review and follow production schedule.
• Complete DHR documents and IPIS forms.
