Job summary

Gilero, a Sanner Group company, is hiring a Field Sales Business Development Manager in Durham, NC to drive strategic growth across Medical Devices Design & Development and Contract Manufacturing. You will hunt new opportunities, build a robust pipeline, and manage opportunities in Salesforce while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in medical device BD, strong consultative selling skills, and are comfortable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of successful business development within the medical device industry.
• Experience selling medical device contract manufacturing, product development, or related services.
• Strong understanding of the medical device product development lifecycle.
• Proven success building new business and expanding existing customer relationships.
• Experience managing a sales pipeline using Salesforce CRM.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% across the territory and Gilero locations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic territory business plan to achieve revenue objectives.
• Build, manage, and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and pursue new opportunities.
• Prospect and convert opportunities with medical device, diagnostics, and drug delivery companies.
• Grow existing customer relationships and expand business within key accounts.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting through contract execution and handoff to operations.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and marketing to deliver customer value.
