Job summary

REQ Solutions Pvt Ltd. seeks an R&D Supervisor to lead a laboratory team in a regulated medical device setting. The role focuses on lab operations, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration to support product development, design verification, and regulatory submissions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in science, at least 4 years in R&D or lab operations, and 2+ years in leadership, with experience in a regulated industry and proficient statistical methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 4 years in R&D, lab ops, testing, method development, analytical sciences, quality in a regulated environment.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience (team/project/technical).
• Experience in regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
• Strong lab operations understanding in regulated settings.
• Experience with test method development, qualification, validation, troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of design, verification activities and product development processes.
• Working knowledge of statistical tools and DOE/Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for laboratory operations and personnel in a fast-paced medical device environment.
• Oversee lab capabilities, resource planning, project prioritization, and team development.
• Collaborate across functions to support product development, design verification testing, and regulatory submissions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing lab team through coaching and continuous improvement.
• Set priorities and allocate resources for testing, method development, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliant daily lab operations and appropriate resource utilization.
