Job summary

Digital Health Solutions is looking for an Electrical Engineering Co-op in Andover, MA. This full-time position offers engineering students the chance to gain hands-on experience in medical device development. Responsibilities include assisting with electrical design and troubleshooting, conducting experiments, and collaborating with teams. Candidates must be pursuing a degree in Electrical or Software Engineering, and experience with Altium is preferred. This role provides exposure to real-world projects and mentorship from industry experts.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles and basic knowledge of electrical systems.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with Altium designer schematic creation, PCB design, and layout/routing.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and documentation abilities.
• Familiarity with electrical engineering tools and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the characterization and test of electrical issues via hands-on debugging.
• Support hands-on engineering activities such as soldering, wiring, and prototype development.
• Utilize Altium to design boards, draft schematics, and decide layout and routing.
• Participate in design reviews and verification/validation efforts.
• Collaborate with engineers to review datasheets and assist with part/component evaluations.
