Medical Device Educator - Pharmacy Technician

Our Medical Device Educators have a unique opportunity to leverage their technician expertise to educate healthcare professionals and advocate for patient well-being through medical device technology. You will educate end users on a new product in hospital pharmacy settings, specifically a closed system drug transfer device used in oncology.

This is a per-diem role involving regional and national travel to support customer needs, with a flexible schedule typically involving 1-2 assignments per month, each lasting 3-5 days. This position offers a chance to impact healthcare, grow professionally, and earn supplemental income.

Responsibilities:

• Provide education and consultation to end users.
• Use Pharmacy Technician skills to answer questions and address concerns about the medical device.
• Assess customer-specific educational needs and collaborate to deliver effective training.
• Provide updates, reports, and feedback to clients during and after assignments.

Job Requirements:

• Active Pharmacy Technician license.
• Availability for at least two weeks per month for assignments.
• Minimum 2-3 years hospital experience preferred.
• Oncology experience of 1 year or more highly preferred.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for travel within 3 hours of home.
• Ability to meet hospital vendor credentialing requirements, including vaccination proof.
