Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Michigan is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery associate responsible for inventory tracking, loading and unloading, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers across our branch network.

You will read maps, perform safety inspections, coordinate with transport, handle minor vehicle maintenance, and support the Branch team while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings as needed.
• Ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• 1+ year of experience preferred.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Accurately track and record inventory; perform cycle counts and optimize inventory use.
• Prepare merchandise for transport and arrange deliveries to customer locations.
• Read maps and plan routes.
• Perform safety inspections in transportation settings.
• Load, unload, or move containers and verify sterility of implants & instruments.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on delivery vehicle; maintain records.
• Advise supervisor on repairs or maintenance needs for the vehicle.
• Address field customer complaints and coordinate with Branch team.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.

Work Flexibility: Onsite Schedule - 1st Shift Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm Overtime based on business needs Rotational on-call responsibilities

What you will do

• Responsible for accurate inventory tracking and record keeping, warehouse inventory cycle counting and optimizing inventory utilization
• Arrange merchandise for transport (on delivery and return) and at customer locations
• Read maps and route configuration
• Perform safety inspections in transportation setting
• Load, unload, or stack containers, materials, or products while checking for sterility, missing/broken implants & instruments
• Perform and/or schedule preventative and regular minor maintenance on company delivery vehicle, (fuel, fluid levels, tires, etc.), and keeps accurate maintenance records
• Advise supervisor when repairs or extensive maintenance are required for the company vehicle
• Field customer complaints, address and communicate as necessary to Branch team members
• Complete other duties as assigned

What you need

• Required Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Must have the ability to work flexible hours, as needed to support the business needs, including weekend and evening call as needed.
• Must have the ability to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Preferred qualifications: High school education or GED equivalent.
• 1+ Year(s) of experience
• $22.10 per hour plus bonus eligible + benefits.
• Travel Percentage: 10%

Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility.
