Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist to oversee and execute critical cybersecurity components for the hospital’s medical devices in Far Rockaway, NY. This role leads risk assessments, device configuration, and vulnerability remediation, collaborating closely with hospital IT and InfoSec teams to safeguard device security and availability.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical device cybersecurity or healthcare technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS platforms and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO).
• Familiarity with FDA and Joint Commission regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection of cybersecurity data elements (CDEs) and manufacturer documentation in CMMS and conduct risk assessments.
• Oversee configuration of medical devices to align with cybersecurity standards; coordinate with manufacturers.
• Manage vulnerability remediation, including response to zero-day threats; coordinate with device manufacturers.
• Investigate alerts on medical devices, analyze high-risk vulnerabilities, and recommend responses.
• Track and report remediation activities; seek improvements across HTM and IT.
