Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Clinical Engineering Cyber Specialist to lead and support the technical components of our healthcare cybersecurity program for St. John's Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway, NY.

You will oversee device configuration, vulnerability remediation, and cross‑functional collaboration with IT and InfoSec teams to ensure secure device operations. The role emphasizes threat mitigation, regulatory compliance (HIPAA, Joint Commission), and proactive participation in industry forums,

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum Functional Experience: 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Lead collection of Critical Data Elements (CDEs) in CMMS and assess risks.
• Oversee configuration of medical devices to cybersecurity standards.
• Coordinate vulnerability remediation including routine patches and zero-day responses.
• Investigate alerts on medical devices and produce remediation recommendations.
• Track remediation activities and drive improvements across HTM and IT.
• Support HTM cybersecurity education and represent Sodexo in forums.
